I didn't have any of the problems others reported. All parts arrived in good condition, and all the hardware was there. The instructions were easy to follow, and the desk went together quickly and easily. For the price, the desk is good quality for particle board. And the top is laminated with laminant, albeit a thin grade of laminant, but at least it's not laminated with paper like so many other pieces in this grade of furniture. Two things I would change if it were up to me... I would offer at least one adjustable shelf for the "tower" compartment for us Mac users who don't have a big bulky tower, or offer a two drawer pedestals option. I mounted my power strips in mine so all my cords are hidden in there, but there's still a lot of wasted space. I would also either make one of the cardboard backs WITHOUT punchouts since it is going on the back side of drawers, because some people like me are not putting it in a corner so the back is hidden. I would have preferred a wooden panel to cover the back to make it look more professional without all the little nailheads showing. But at least give me cardboard without the perforations if nothing else.

The desk/hutch combination was exactly the look I wanted, and the work space is very good, but there are several features which were disappointing. First, the drawers are not as deep as the actual desk is making them incredibly small. The desk measures 20" deep, but the drawers are only 15" deep and 12" wide. I can't even fit a drawer organizer in them. Also, the cabinets on the hutch don't have any shelves so it is just one big empty space. I built shelves to add storage space. Also, there isn't a pencil drawer under the main table top which would have also been convenient. Next, the quality is not that great, and assembly was not easy. Parts arrived damaged and we had to order new ones (they came very quickly, though), hardware was missing (we just went to the hardware store and got the pieces we needed), the wood quality on parts of it is very flimsy, and only some of the parts were labeled. I didn't return it because none of this was very apparent until we put it all together, and disassembling and returning would have been too difficult.

Our daughter needed bigger desk and it fit our needs but there are no adjustable shelves for the cabinet. it dented easily even though it says that the top is scratch resistant. It wasn't the easiest desk to put together and the instructions were poorly written with many parts without a label. A big con is that it is all particle board and nothing is real wood.

Very happy with the dilvery time. Box needed hand truck to bring it inside. Instructions were not real detailed and some pieces were not labeled which made it difficult. Took about 2 hours to assemble.
